Rumors and speculation strongly suggest that a 7-inch tablet from Microsoft, named the Xbox Surface, is well underway. There was a leaked document months ago which first mentioned a “Xbox Surface” along with some specs. The Verge has heard that the initial leak was quite accurate in fact. This latest rumor suggests that the Xbox Surface will be specially modified to make it a gaming tablet and it will not have your typical Windows 8 operating system. Is this a good idea for Microsoft or are they gambling too much on the mobile gaming market? With everyone buying smartphones which make for a good mobile gaming device, is there enough market for this tablet to be a success?
