The news this week about HMV in financial trouble? That situation applies to the UK HMV stores and not HMV Canada. Same brand but different owners as it turns out. I was close to writing about more doom and gloom or should I say changes in consumer spending, but all appears quite fine and dandy with HMV in Canada. The HMV Canada president Nick Williams indicated that they have a “significantly different business model (than the UK stores).”
